St Jude's CoE Primary

Mr Tim Gittins - Y5/6

What is your educational background?

I have a double degree in history and geography from the University of Wales Cardiff and also a Post Graduate  Certificate in Education (PGCE)  from there too, where I played cricket for Welsh Universities.

What inspired you to work at St Jude's and what do you bring?

What attracted me to St Jude’s was the atmosphere of a small school with big aspirations and the fact they put the needs of the children first! I love working here and it’s great to be part such a friendly and supportive staff team that allows us to be ourselves but also allow the children to be themselves and be the best they can be!

 What are your interests?

I love playing cricket and am the current captain of my club. I'm a keen skier and am partial to a bit of sea kayaking too. I play the cornet and have played for some of the top 20 brass bands in the world including the National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall several times!
